Dedicated to helping cats.

MA-F.I.A. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, foster-based cat rescue dedicated to providing homeless cats and kittens with food, medical care, affection, and permanent homes.

We support feline welfare in Attleboro and surrounding communities by supplying critical resources—including medical treatments, food, litter, and enrichment—entirely through donations and fundraising.

MA-F.I.A. provides safe, loving foster homes for homeless or surrendered cats until they are ready for adoption. All cats in our care receive full medical treatment, including vaccinations, spaying or neutering, and any necessary procedures before being placed in permanent homes.

Stories from MA-F.I.A. Alumni

Boo’s journey back to MA-F.I.A is a testament to our motto: once MA-F.I.A, always MA-F.I.A. After Joyce’s passing two years ago and her husband Dennis’s recent fatal car accident, we welcomed Boo back with open arms. We are overjoyed that he has now found a loving new adoptive home where he can be cherished once again.

A compassionate MA-F.I.A volunteer came across a stunning white kitten on Craigslist and knew she had to act before he fell into the wrong hands. She purchased the kitten, naming him Nimbus after a type of cloud, and cared for him until he was old enough for adoption. Once Nimbus reached the ideal weight and was neutered, a loving adopter provided him with his forever home.

Ginger Baker lived a happy life as a farm cat at Seven Arrows farm for 18 years. Unfortunately, his health began to decline, and he was taken in by a volunteer who provided him with love, care, and medical attention. Ginger was diagnosed with a large, inoperable mass on his kidney as well as diabetes, but his caregiver made sure his remaining months were comfortable. He experienced the life of a spoiled, well-loved indoor cat for 8 months before passing away.
